CALLAHAN x GUTTERFLIES

Callahan is a full time artist based in Colorado known for his playful use of color and nature inspired pieces. his most recent work focuses on textual based explorations and one of a kind sculptural pieces.

For this collaboration, we hybridized Cal’s signature everyday mug silhouette with one of my older lock handle designs. This ensures uniform and modular pieces that stack with Cal’s existing body of work including his 1000 mugs project.

Renee lopresti is an artist and educator based in Southeastern Wisconsin. She was Named one of Ceramics Monthly’s Emerging Artists in 2017 and continues to exhibit work through national invitational exhibitions. Intended to invoke joy, Renee’s functional ceramics feature color pattern-based imagery that draws influence from nature, mid-century modern, and art nouveau.

This Collaboration will be a traditional tattoo spin on Renee’s signature mug silhouette and glazing techniques.
