Bring your vision to life with a custom neon piece made just for you. As real glass neon is becoming increasingly rare, this is your chance to create a custom neon sign, handcrafted just for you. Whether it’s a word, phrase, logo, symbol, or completely original design, we’ll work with you to create something that feels uniquely yours.
This is a collaborative process with the Museum of Neon Art in Glendale. We’ll help develop your design, work through the details, and assist throughout the production process, while the skilled neon fabricators at MONA handle the final specialized bending, bombarding, and processing.
From the initial concept to the finished piece, we’ll collaborate on the details, including size, color, style, and overall look.
The process:
Share your idea or concept. Tell us what you have in mind, whether it’s a specific design, phrase, logo, or just an idea.
2. Discuss the details. We’ll go over your preferred size, colors, design, and any other details needed to bring your vision to life.
3. Develop the design. We’ll help refine your concept and prepare the design for fabrication.
4. Secure your project. A 50% non-refundable deposit, applied toward the final project total, is required before fabrication begins.
5. Approve the proof. You’ll receive a design proof to review and approve before fabrication.
6. Fabrication. Once approved, your piece will be handcrafted and fabricated in collaboration with the Museum of Neon Art.
7. Pickup & final payment. The remaining balance is due at pickup.
A portion of all sales helps keep the museum illuminating LA and supporting the preservation and appreciation of neon art.
